The eSTEAM Club Summer Camp will be held at the Bradley Community Center beginning June 11, 2018, through August 3, 2018. There will be no camp July 4th, 2018.

Completion of the registration form does NOT guarantee a space is available. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.

Important Dates:

May 24th, 2018 – Registration Closes

May 25th, 2018 – Orientation Invitations Emailed

May 31st, 2018  – Camp Orientation

June 11th, 2018 –  1st Day of Camp

June 11 – 15    Under Water Adventurers

Primary Focus: ScienceEngineering

Brief Description: Take a deep dive into the world of water while learning to conserve, test, clean, and scuba dive! Pool visit Friday.

June 18 – 22       On Set

Primary Focus: Art, Engineering

Brief Description: Learn the art, science, technology, and engineering behind filmmaking. On Friday, teams will walk the ‘Red Carpet’ and present their projects.

 

June 25 – 29    Emerging Artists

Primary Focus: Art

Brief Description: Sponsored by the Gaston Arts Council – This program will focus on learning to create art with different media and techniques; taught by a local artist.

July 2 – 6         Eco-Lab

Primary Focus: Science, Technology

Brief Description: Emphasis is placed on the exploration of the natural world and involvement in the local community through the arts and sciences.

 

July 9 – 13    Spy School / Inspector Gadgets

Primary Focus: ScienceEngineering

Brief Description: Learn the art of espionage like fingerprinting, decoding, secret languages, disguises and more. We will also create cool spy gadgets like pocket lie detectors!

July 16 – 20    Cities of the Future – Idea Incubator 

Primary Focus: Technology, Art, Engineering

Brief Description: Programming, 3D Printing, Civil Engineering

July 23 – 27     Cities of the Future – Design

Primary Focus: Technology, Art, Engineering

Brief Description: Programming, 3D Printing, Civil Engineering

July 30 – Aug. 3    Cities of the Future – Build & Print

Primary Focus: Technology, Art, Engineering

Brief Description: Programming, 3D Printing, Civil Engineering
